Frequently Asked Questions

How often are these records updated?

DNS records are cached by ISPs and browsers. The "TTL" (Time To Live) value determines how long a record is cached. Our tool queries a public DNS resolver (Cloudflare) which usually reflects changes very quickly.

What is DNS propagation?

Propogation is the time it takes for DNS changes to spread across the internet. It can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours depending on the TTL settings.
